When Blues are focused, force the issue and don’t lose concentration, they are a tough nut to crack.
“We’re coming up to the halfway point, the Christmas period, which is always a big one,” Quashie added.
“We’re well placed at the moment and we’ve got it within us to go on, win more football matches and close that gap at the top.
“When we played Wolves, they seemed a bit more nervous than us, they were edgy in the first-half.
‘‘But they’re a good side, full credit to them, as they dug in and went for it at the end.”
Quashie, who is on loan from West Ham United, said the bond in the squad had also been getting stronger.
“Everyone is in it together. The lads have had the right attitude and the dressing room has been first-class.
“We’re in a situation where we’ve got a good backing in the dressing room amongst ourselves and if there is anything to be sorted out, then we can sort it out.”
