Quincy looking for a long-term deal at Birmingham City

QUINCY admits he is desperate to secure a permanent move to St Andrews but believes he needs to start more games to prove himself.

The pacey winger made a rare start for Blues during Saturdays 3-2 victory over Watford and will be hoping for more of the same when Alex McLeishs side head to Plymouth tonight.

The exciting Ghana international has made 10 league starts in a season that was briefly hampered by injury.

Quincys loan deal from Spartak Moscow runs until January with Blues having an option to extend to the end of the season, one McLeish is likely to take up.

However, the ex-Arsenal forward is eager to convince McLeish to sign him up on a permanent deal.

Obviously Im on a loan deal here so Im always trying to prove myself and show that I can get a permanent deal or at least an extension to the loan, thats the most important thing for me at the moment, admitted the 22-year-old.

Im trying to play good games and hopefully we can do something from there. It was good playing 90 minutes against Watford after a long time.
