Quincy looking for a long-term deal at Birmingham City
Dec 9 2008 by Andy Walker, Birmingham Mail
I havent had a lot of games for the last couple of weeks so I was actually looking forward to playing against Watford.
I was happy to start the game and I just went out there and enjoyed the game. Youre always looking to play a good game and Im looking forward to starting more.
That is down to the manager, I just have to go out there show what I can do and hopefully get the confidence and more games in.
Quincy also has three goals to his name this season, including a wonder Carling Cup strike on his Blues debut against Wycombe.
But the Dutch-born trickster insists scoring isnt the most important thing to him.
I like to get the ball at my feet, run at defenders and then try to get a cross in, sometimes I look for the goal, he said.
If I get the chance to shoot at the target and it goes in then thats nice but the three points are more important for me.
Theres a spirit in this team and I think we showed that against Watford.
