O’Connor had targeted a playing return by the end of this month. That seems to be rather optimistic.
Said McLeish: “Garry O’Connor is still a little bit tentative at the moment.
“He has joined in one or two first team training sessions, but we pulled him out of a couple as well because you could see he wasn’t at the level of the rest of the players.
“There was no point in him doing that until he feels he has got no inhibitions.”
