Birmingham City: Djimi Traore faces battle to get into team

DJIMI Traore has been warned that he faces a battle to get into the Blues team.
Blues’ loan signing from Portsmouth – described as an unexpected ‘present’ for Alex McLeish from the board – has to get past David Murphy and Franck Queudrue in the pecking order for left-back.
Traore can also play centre-half, which provides McLeish with another option, especially as Liam Ridgewell is one booking away from a two-game ban.
“Djimi was a bonus really,” said the Blues boss.
