Alex McLeish promises: Birmingham City will only get better

ALEX McLeish has declared Blues are shaping up to be a better team than earlier in the season.
But the manager warned the bottom line remained results.
“I did say in the transfer window, when we were making changes, that we would try to alter the dynamic of the team,” he said.
“I see players settling now into the club, like Scott Sinclair who is getting better with every game.
‘‘Hameur Bouazza was left out last week due to being on his travels, international duty, but he has done well too. Keith Fahey has come in.
“I think there has been a better balance about the team and there’s no reason why we can’t play better football.
“But the bottom line is that we have still got to win these games.
“If we go out and play brilliant football between now and the end of the season and are not as effective as we were in the first-half of the season, when we weren’t highly-rated at the time by anybody really, critics-wise, then it’s not going to do us any good.
“But I certainly think we can do both – we can win games and play well.”
