Franck Queudrue: Birmingham City fans can help us to reach the Prem
“We need it to be at home like the year before in the Premier League: they were fantastic, and the atmosphere was great.
“I feel like our fans are disappointed with what has happened to us [relegation] and that they expect us to be top of the league as well.
“But we are still in a good position – and they can help us get there.
“The thing is, when we are a bit down, we need them to cheer us up.
“I would call on the fans to get right behind us from the first to the last minute against Bristol and Southampton.”
Queudrue said he knew that it was two-way thing; the players also had to give the faithful something to shout about.
“We feel it as badly as they do,” he stressed. “Of course. We know the big sacrifices they make financially, to travel and stuff, maybe stay away from their families to watch us.
“We are disappointed as they are when we lose, believe me, and we go out there and try to do our very best.”
