Birmingham City: Lee Bowyer reveals reason for recent success
LEE Bowyer has pinpointed Birmingham City's determination to no longer make it easy for their rivals being behind their resurgence.
Alex McLeish’s men have played what the manager calls ‘front foot football’ and it has resulted in vital back-to-back wins to set Blues up nicely for tomorrow’s trip to Barnsley.
And Bowyer said there could be no respite as Blues attempt to keep Championship leaders Wolves in their sights and also don’t provide Reading or Cardiff City with a significant opening.

“I think we are starting to play well together now,” said the midfielder, whose vibrancy and dashes into the opposition danger areas have helped Blues’ positive mindset.
“At Crystal Palace we were very unlucky and the last two games we’ve won, quite convincingly I think. They were both 1-0 and it could have been more. But it doesn’t matter how many goals you score, you still get three points, and that’s the main thing.
“We are getting on top of teams and we’re making them make mistakes high up the pitch. We’re not really letting them get out whereas when I first came, it was comfortable for them. I think that we are all working hard and that is showing.
