Birmingham City must beat likes of Barnsley - McLeish

“Kicking them up the backside when they need it too, that’s leadership.
“But by and large the spirit in this dressing room has been terrific the whole season, even through the tough times we’ve had what with the injuries and illnesses as well. And I can’t praise them enough for the past couple of games.”
But what of the noises from upstairs.
“We have got passionate people at the helm of the club and they only want to see the best for us,” said McLeish.
Blues have to maintain a winning habit, he added.
“We must go to Barnsley believing we can win. We won’t say anything stupid they can pin up in the dressing room that gives them extra motivation.
“We have to go about our own job, do the things that we have done well in the last couple of games. Some players are now integrating into the squad well and we are looking for a little more from everybody else.
“It’s a collective thing. The team performances over the last two games have been, for me, as good as anything we’ve seen this season.”
