Birmingham City's Garry O'Connor set to return after long time out

“He will be a big asset to us, another one who gives me a happy selection problem.
“I am hoping that in two or three weeks’ time we are still sitting in a fantastic position and we have people like O’Connor, James McFadden and Kevin Phillips all chapping on the door again.”
Phillips (hamstring) could be in contention for Saturday’s game at Doncaster Rovers if this week’s training goes well.
Bent, though, has become the latest injury victim.
McLeish said: “He has nicked a hamstring. Whether it’s the smallest of tears or not, I would have thought he would be missing for three weeks at least.”
Bent’s absence means that Carlos Costly is likely to start up front tonight.
Bent is the ninth player on Blues injury list, which also contains Phillips, McFadden, Liam Ridgewell, David Murphy, Stuart Parnaby, Kemy Agustien, Djimi Traore and Jordon Mutch.
