Martin Taylor goes from villain to hero to earn Birmingham City a draw

MARTIN Taylor admitted he was devastated and delighted in equal measure after a dramatic finale at Barnsley.
Taylor failed to deal with a cross and it resulted in Michael Mifsud’s 82nd-minute goal.
Then he promptly went up the other end and notched Blues’ equaliser three minutes later. The centre-half left Oakwell with mixed emotions, but admitted Blues didn’t do enough to have taken the game outright.
“It was a funny few minutes for me,” he reflected. “I was really disappointed for their goal.
“It was coming over, and I had been dealing with those sort of balls all night.
“I don’t know, the cross came in and it was right on to the middle of my forehead, but it just flicked off the top. I misjudged it.
“Mistakes like that cost you, it doesn’t matter who you play against. He had all the time in the world to put it in there. I was devastated.
“But we got a free-kick soon after and I thought the only way to make up for it is to score.
