Birmingham City must be promoted - Alex McLeish
Alex McLeish has insisted that the bottom line is promotion – nothing more, nothing less.
Blues have not played the kind of exhilarating, attractive football McLeish promised this season.
But then again, few teams rarely manage that in the Championship week in, week out.
"The aim at the start of the season was to go to the Premier League, and we stand by that,” he said.
"Listen, I have not said to the players 'go and play crap football and get up to the Premier League'.
"Believe me, we do work on passing and touch and movement on the training ground and sometimes it doesn't go for you on a Saturday.
