Birmingham City not fretting over rivals - Hameur Bouazza

HAMEUR Bouazza today insisted Blues were not peering over their shoulder at the chasing pack.

Bouazza, who netted his first Blues goal in the win over Doncaster Rovers that strengthened the side’s automatic promotion credentials, said they were not fretting about Reading or Sheffield United for that matter.

The Royals play one of their two games in hand at Doncaster tonight but Bouazza said it was all about Blues.

“I am going to be honest with you, and I know the lads are thinking the same thing as me, I’m not looking at Reading, I’m concentrating on our games and getting some more points, as many as we can,” said the attacking midfielder.

“Our last game is against Reading and that’s obviously going to be a tough one, but I’m not looking that far, nor are the lads looking that far ahead or what they are doing or what they have to do.

“At the moment we are not looking behind us, but in front of us.

“We just need to keep getting more results and points like the last few.”
