Birmingham City fans speak out on Stephen Carr signing
bluebloodedboy: I think the 3 members of Dads Army, Carr, Bowyer and Carsley have been our best players during this mini revival.
I was moaning for Carsley to be dropped, but I have to say he has really stepped up these last 3/4 games. His sweeper type role is vital.
Carr has been awesome - utter respect to him for his fitness level and a big thank you to his mate who apparently made the call to Big Eck!!
Bowyer for me is our best player. His running, drive and general play is simply a step up from most others in our team and virtually anyone else in the league.
Big Eck has improved too, but the jury is most definitely still out.
I am over the moon with the current improvements and I will be singing my head off this saturday, but I think its important that we dont completely forget the first 3/4 of the season completely, even if we are promoted.
Not being negative at all, just realistic.
jazzzy786: That Carr is a Ferrari I tell you the body looks a bit old but the engine is still excellent. He's only 32 which makes him younger than Jaidi and the same age as Martin Taylor. Been very impressed and pleased with his performances. Was just edged out for man of the match by Jerome against Donny.
I feel like saying VROOM VROOM VROOOOOOOOM !!! everytime he gets the ball and runs forward. He deserves a contract . I think we should sign him for longer - he'll meet the price criteria and we won't find another defender of his calibre for at least £5m.
IOMBlues: This is a football player who has pride in himself and a love of the game, i think its rubbing off on others, lets hope he stays fit from now until end of the season.
