WILL the real Sebastian Larsson please stand up?

Well, he has.

The reigning player-of-the-season is back to such award-winning form, and Blues are all the better for it.

Larsson’s mind was in turmoil when it became clear that Blues would not cash in on him following Premier League relegation, and due to a contract issue.

But he has got fully fit, knuckled down and has been a recent key cog in the Blues wheel that is turning very nicely.

“What can I say about the form of Larsson?’’ said Alex McLeish. “We’ve been waiting to unleash the real Larsson. He’s been troubled this season with injuries and maybe the mental side as well, I don’t think I’m out of order saying that, and I think he would back me on that as well.

“But if we had had him the whole season playing at that level, in terms of the position, we would have seen more consistency on the wing.
