Birmingham City: Radhi Jaidi must wait to see if Blues offer a new deal

The giant 33-year-old stopper admits that he’ll respect any decision that the club make about his future when the time arrives but hopes that he can extend his spell in Brum.

“I’ve not had any discussions (about my contract) yet,” admitted Jaidi. “I have to wait to hear the club’s answer. At the end of the season they have to decide if I stay or go. It will be a pleasure for me to stay. I feel OK at this club and city as well as my family. When the time comes, the manager or club will tell me their decision and I will accept any decision.

“The only thing that I’d like to say is that I’m very happy in the city and with this club as well. I’ve had a very good time in football and in the city, it’s given me more experience in England as well.

“The important thing for me is to go back to the Premier League with the team and then when the time comes we’ll see if the club want me.”
