Birmingham City: The jibe which made Franck Queudrue lose his temper

Meanwhile, Queudrue said Blues let themselves down by drawing with relegation-threatened Norwich City.

Blues failed to show the sort of form they have done in recent weeks and were grateful for a point on Saturday.

“It was disappointing, obviously,” he said. “When we were ahead, we should have kept the lead.

“It was a good free-kick from them, maybe the foul that led to it was a bit of a mistake, but it was a good free-kick, Maik Taylor could do nothing about it.”

Blues’ next game is at home to Wolves – a massive fixture.

Queudrue said: “Every game is important and obviously the Wolves one will be a big one. I think Saturday was a big one as well and we let ourselves down a bit.

“They came with a good game plan and it worked for them.

“We were at home. We don’t want to drop points, especially with our big ambitions. We let ourselves down because we didn’t get the three points.”
