Garry O'Connor: I was ring rusty on Birmingham City return
O’Connor said: “Kev’s a predator, he’s been that all his career, and he was unfortunate at the end with a header.
“He will always get chances as he always gets in the right positions.
‘‘It’s great to have him back and we’re getting Benty and Faddy back up front too so that will be everyone fit and competition for places.”
Blues, however, have to be more inventive if they are to bring out the best in such firepower.
“We never created enough on Saturday, and the gaffer said that as well,” said O’Connor.
“There were not enough balls in the box and we started poorly.
“All due respect to Norwich, I think they deserved the draw. Now we’ve got to pick ourselves up and it’s a big one coming now against Wolves.”
