Birmingham City fans will go wild if promoted says Franck Queudrue

FANS favourite Franck Queudrue expects Bluenoses to raise the roof at St Andrew’s for the potential promotion-clincher against Preston this evening.
Queudrue, like the majority of his team-mates, were taken aback by the atmosphere that was generated inside St Andrew’s for the Championship derby clash against Wolves almost three weeks ago.
And the French left-back, who was crowned player-of-the-season by supporters last week, expects the Blues faithful to go one better against Preston.
“I expect an even better atmosphere (than against Wolves),” said Queudrue, who should be back at left-back today in place of the injured David Murphy.
“I know Wolves is a derby match but obviously Preston is a must-win.

“The fans are not stupid, they know how important this game is for the future of the club. They know that this game is a must-win for us to go back into the Premier League.
“We’ve needed to go into that game all week knowing that we had to win, it didn’t matter what Sheffield United did at Burnley on Monday night.”
Having called on supporters to do their bit at St Andrew’s, Queudrue has also ensured fans that the players are also fully-focused and confidence is high for this evening’s crunch showdown with play-off- chasing Lilywhites.
“There’s a confident mood around the camp. We know what we have to do, we’ve got everything in our hands so I would say it’s up to us.
“The other teams don’t matter, if we do our job and do well then we will be promoted,” he added.
