Birmingham City fail with further bid for Cardiff star

BLUES will cool their interest in Cardiff’s Roger Johnson after having a second bid for the defender rejected.
The Bluebirds have knocked back an improved approach for their reigning player-of-the-season and appear prepared to stick to their £5million valuation.
Blues’ latest bid, their ‘take it or leave it’ final offer, met that valuation but only after a series of add-ons that Cardiff were far from happy with.
In fact, it has been suggested that Blues’ initial outlay for Johnson would have been for less than half of that headline figure.
