Robin Shroot joins Burton from Birmingham City on season-long loan

ROBIN Shroot has, as expected, moved to Burton Albion on a season-long loan.

The Northern Ireland under-21 international joined Blues in January from non-league Harrow Borough.

The move to Paul Peschisolido’s League Two new boys is designed to provide Shroot with valuable competitive experience.

Shroot made a surprise debut in the FA Cup clash against Wolves shortly after his arrival at Blues.

He then spent a stint on loan at Walsall.

Blues have the option to recall the winger when the January transfer window opens.

He will be eligible to play for the Brewers in the Carling Cup, with FA Cup permission pending.
