Birmingham City: Keith Fahey injury scare

KEITH Fahey gave Blues an injury scare after being forced off the field at the Zell am See stadium last night.
The midfielder was replaced by Jordon Mutch in the 58th minute after going to ground following a challenge.
He headed off clutching an ice pack to the affected area.
Alex McLeish was content with what he got from Fahey up to then.
“Keith was great. He’s very effective on that left side. He keeps the ball, he defends well,’’ he said.
“We were going to take him off at half-time but we thought we couldn’t do everybody and Keith is one of the ones who has got great energy.
“But when he flagged to the side that he had a slight abductor problem, we whipped him off right away.”
