Birmingham City: Bent and Doyle in for Augsburg game

MARCUS Bent and Colin Doyle are expected to figure prominently for Blues in the second friendly of their pre-season tour.

They take on Augsburg in Westendorf today (5pm) looking to bounce back from Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat by VfB Stuttgart.

Bent and Doyle, plus Scott Dann, were the only players not to figure in Zell am See.

Keith Fahey may not be available after coming off with an abductor niggle, while Franck Queudrue and Jordon Mutch also have minor niggles.

Dann has not been risked yet in a match situation as he has been recovering from summer knee surgery.

Augsburg play in the German Second Division and finished 11th last term.
