Birmingham City: Carson Young speculation - your opinions
Our current board lack investment but keep the club above water financially, can the same be said for Yeung!
Ian Bruton: Of course all things are about timing and again Yeung leaves a bad taste in the mouth with another very fine example of his brand of bad timing. On the eve of a new premiership campaign and with the current board supporting the manager and trying to stabilize the club for the challenge ahead he (Yeung) opts to raise his own profile and threatens everything that Messrs Gold and Sullivan have achieved over the last 14 months or so.
I for one had forgotten about Carson Yeungs (so called) interests in BCFC and for sure I am not alone in that admission - perhaps that is his reasoning here, there is nothing worse than a rich man with a deflated ego and knowing that he is not wanted (or needed).
Hopefully only the media will give this more attention than our board, shareholders or supporters will.
Oh, and the Vile fans will be wetting themselves at this - and I don't know what hurts the most - it's never easy being a Bluenose.
Steve Job: IF he has got the finance to take the club on to the next level then it should be seriously considered. I don't think The Golds and David Sullivan would sell without that assurance - so us Blues fans shouldn't panic - and if he does want to take it over then i'm sure we'll set an appropriate deadline to have it done...as we all saw the damage that was done last time.
Rob Howells: I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole, I doubt the directors will either... is this a case of Premiership money talks!!!
Stuart Thorne: No way should we let him near our beloved club. If he couldn’t come up with the money last time why does he think he can now???…..we sure don’t need a repeat of last time…relegation!!!!
I would keep our present board any time.
Blue-Nose-Gord: We all recall the debarcle that occurred the last time he came in for us!....arguably, cost us a premiership place me thinks! Did he want to know us last season?....NO! Now we're back in the EPL he's sniffin' round us again....go figure!! HOWEVER, if he can prove commitment & provide a stable financial basis, then great. And personally, If he buys out DS then so be it; he's been great but if he's made no secret of the fact that he wants out & that he only stays for his babbys who love the club! I hope the GOLDs stay tho' I think they've been great for the club thus far. STICK or TWIST!!! Perhaps we could be the new MIDLAND project!!
KRO!
