Seb Larsson says Birmingham City are now better equipped to survive Premiership battle

SEBASTIAN Larsson has insisted the current Blues side have more chance of survival than the 2007-08 version.
That was Blues’ last season in the Premier League, one which ended in relegation under Alex McLeish.
He replaced Steve Bruce as manager in the November and, despite a strong record at St Andrew’s, Blues slipped back into the Championship.
Larsson felt the pain as a regular in the team but he reckons now Blues have reasons to be optimistic.
“I definitely think we’re better now,” said the Swedish international winger.
“It’s frustrating at the moment because we’re not scoring when we get the opportunities.
“We could have easily come away with the three points at Tottenham.
“But we can play a lot more football now, as people have seen. We can move the ball, pass it and create some chances.
