Birmingham City goalkeeper debate rages on

Reesa: People make me laugh, calling for the same Maik Taylor who was constatntly hounded last year and had the same critisism thrown at him and calls were constantly being made to drop him, now all of a sudden he is flawless.

Sid2: Hart has not been that bad!! Yes he made a mistake aginst Burnley, but Carr has to share the blame for that goal as well, to me, he comunicates better and is a lot more agile, he should stay in!!

Johnners: I expected a lot of Joe Hart and I must admit he has not lived up to those expectations just yet. He has appeared 'nervy' to me in many games, not the commanding presence in the box we need. Maik has been a great servant of the club and is a fantastic shot stopper himself but struggled coming off his line and communicating with his back four. On balance, I would back the future which must be Hart.

RastaNipples1: I cant recall Hart actually catching an incoming ball. All he seems to do is flap or punch. It seems we're training up a future star for another club at our expense.

Time to bring back Maik Taylor!

Boozy_Blue: I'd rather play Doyle he's our keeper, big strong and a great shot stopper

I cannot understand since he broke into the 1st team why he hasn't been give a chance.

Tirednweary: Hart is a young lad learning his trade.
He WILL be England's number one for years to come eventually.
Maik Taylor has been a tremendous goalkeeper and servent to ALL the clubs he has represented, he is though well past his best and has been for a couple of seasons.
IF Hart needs to be rested then (and he doesn't) YES Doyle should be the replacement, followed by Krysiak when back at the club.

Pendreyinmcleishout: Doyle for me! Won't happen though.

Bubbablue: Taylor v Hart

kicking it far - Hart
everything else - Taylor

Hart has not impressed at all for me

Mean Machine: Hart has not impressed me, I also thought Scott Carson would be a England regular when he burst on the scene so it just goes to show how quickly things can change.

NWBlue: I do wonder if I watch the same football as some people Taylor was excellent last year head and shoulders above Doyle.

There is a reason why Doyle is still at Blues - because nobody else fancies him

As for Hart vs Taylor not alot in it, if Hart is still confident I would stick with him, as his kicking is much better.

DirtDevil: Doyle's not reliable enough. Simple.

I think I'd put Taylor in for the next game. Hart has looked a little vulnerable at catching so far which has arguably cost us the last 2 games.
