Kevin Phillips provides the fireworks to level up Birmingham City and Aston Villa reserves clash

POCKET-rocket Kevin Phillips spared Giovanny Espinoza’s blushes on Bonfire Night with a razor-sharp finish at a soggy St Andrew’s last night.
Villa’s second-string looked to have staged a stunning second-half comeback, with a little help from Espinoza.
Blues reserves, who started with nine senior players, looked to have been cruising after a well-taken first-half brace from Robin Shroot.
However, Nathan Delfouneso and Andreas Weimann combined after the break to spark the visitors’ fightback.
After a storming charge down the right channel, Delfouneso found Weimann who stabbed home from close range.
