MARTIN Taylor could be back in contention for Blues during the Christmas period.
The centre-half suffered ankle ligament damage in pre-season and has yet to figure in the Premier League.
“He’s about ready,” said manager Alex McLeish.

“We’re looking at him being available for the festive campaign and just into the New Year.
“He will be on reserve games soon but we’re going to have to organise one or two games at the training ground as there’s not another reserve league fixture until January.”
Meanwhile, McLeish has urged his side not to slacken off.
“Confidence is good but we temper it by keeping our feet on the ground,’’ he added.
‘‘We know that we have got ourselves into a good position through determination, hard work and I think at times no little skill. But it doesn’t stop there. We have got to be relentless in our pursuit of points.”
