James McFadden: Birmingham City are seeing the best of Lee Bowyer

LEE Bowyer can do little wrong for Blues at the moment.
“I know, I was saying ‘Lee Bowyer for England, definitely’,’’ smiled James McFadden. “He has been great since he came in, even last year in the Championship when he made a difference to us.
“He has been one of the reasons we’ve been on this good run, but it is a fantastic team effort as well.”
Bowyer has proven himself a goalscoring power in the Blues’ engine room, and still has plenty left in the tank.
“He maybe never played as much at West Ham as he would have liked or should have,” said McFadden. “There were a few doubters when he signed here but he has proved every one of them wrong. He is still relatively young in terms of footballers these days so we are getting the best out of him.
“If you look at that Leeds United team he was in a few years ago, he was the driving force.”
