Stud Marks: Chinese New Year comes to Birmingham City
STUDMARKS would like to wish a Happy Chinese New Year to the guys at the helm of Blues.
While yesterday was Valentine’s Day, February 14 2010 also marked the start of the year of the tiger in China.
Given that Alex McLeish’s side have a Premier League and FA Cup campaign to concentrate on, you would have thought that the event may have gone unnoticed down at Wast Hills.
However, the club’s new found links to the Far East meant that the Blues squad and backroom staff also got involved with the celebrations.
After Saturday’s victory at Derby, McLeish revealed: “We’ve done a few photos this week with wee dragons and all that. So we’ve made our contribution.”
