Blues new Spanish signing might want to let it be known just how to pronounce his name.
The midfielder - full name Miguel Marcos Madera - is known as Michel.
You say it ‘Mee-chel’.
But not at West Ham United. When he came on as substitute the PA announced ‘Michelle’, as in the girl’s name.
Cue hoots of derision and high-pitched ‘oohs’ whenever he touched the ball from the Hammers faithful!
