SCOTT Dann believes Blues are capable of living with the best the Premier League has to offer.
The stirring fightback against Everton showed that Alex McLeish’s men should be afraid of no-one.
Intriguingly Blues, who continue to push for their highest finish since 1955-56, have only beaten one top-half side in the league this season, Fulham.
But that should not make their achievements so far any the less impressive, said the centre-half.
“Everton have picked up since the start of the year and have shot right back up the league,’’ he said.
‘‘They are a top team with lots of top players and I think we showed we’re capable of matching teams like that.
“We gave them a head start and you can’t really do that against someone like Everton because they punish you.
“We came out slowly and conceded two sloppy goals, which we were disappointed about considering the way we have been defending.
“But we then showed the spirit that we have all season and got ourselves back into the game and managed to get a draw out of it and I think we were the ones pushing for the win in the end.
“We kept the unbeaten run going at St Andrew’s. We said before the game we wanted to do that and keep getting as many points from now until the end of the season.
‘‘We’ve still got to play against good teams and try and get results like we did Saturday.”
