Birmingham City: Sebastian Larsson contract dispute remains at stalemate

ALEX McLeish has admitted he is unsure whether there will be a breakthrough in Sebastian Larsson’s contract negotiations.
It had been suggested a deal was about to be agreed but, when asked about it, McLeish shrugged.
Larsson’s contract expires in the summer and he can start talking to clubs outside England about a potential Bosman free transfer if nothing has materialised by January.
McLeish said: “The last contact was a couple of months ago.
‘‘I know that Julia Shelton [Blues’ head of football administration] has been liaising with Seb’s agent.
