Birmigham City must be wary of Aston Villa's speed kings

THE speed of Villa danger men Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ashley Young in the final third has to be respected, says former Blues man Jon McCarthy.
“I felt Heskey was probably their best player in October,’’ he said. ‘‘But Blues were able to cope with just him up front.
“Now Villa have got Agbonlahor again and that will make a difference.
“They can use him and Young to good effect. I know he takes criticism from both Blues fans and Villa fans for his style of play and how very easily he goes down, but Young has got a lot of quality and pace.
“So putting Agbonlahor into that team, they are a different prospect. They will cause more problems with him and Young in there.
“If Villa want to play one up front, or a two of Heskey – if fit – and Carew, Blues can deal with that.
“If they decide on more pace up there, that’s more of a concern for Blues.”
