IT WAS five years ago almost to the day when Stuart Parnaby last scored a goal.
But he insists don’t be surprised if he gets more, should he be given the chance to play again.
Parnaby equalised to make it 2-2 against Coventry City in the FA Cup derby, his first strike since netting for Middlesbrough in a 3-0 win at Sunderland in 2006.
Blues went on to win and Parnaby enjoyed a fine, adventurous and vibrant game.
“It’s always been in my game. I like to get forward. Since I was a kid, that’s what I’ve learned to do. You have got to have all parts
to your game, haven’t you? You have to be able to defend and attack.
“It’s been a long time coming, though.
“You have got to try and get in the area, and sometimes you just end up there in the right place.
