Watford v Birmingham City: Cameron Jerome set to be named in Birmingham City squad at Watford

CAMERON Jerome is set to return to the Birmingham City fold at Watford on Sunday.

But his involvement, most likely on the substitutes’ bench, could be his last at the club.

Fulham and Bolton Wanderers have both revived their interest in the striker.

Jerome has not figured yet for Blues this season because of a heel injury.

But he has trained well the past fortnight and is ready to join Chris Hughton’s squad again.

Defenders Scott Dann (ankle) and Liam Ridgewell (shin) could also be fit for the Vicarage Road match, while midfielder Guirane N’Daw should be involved.

Chris Hughton, meanwhile, has stated that Blues have a chance of qualifying from their Europa League group.

“Regarding the difficulty of the group, Braga reached the final last year and they have improved as a squad over recent years, so are very tough.

“Bruges are a team that is used to being in Europe year in and year out and Maribor are the one in the group that are a little bit unknown, but any team that knocks Rangers out the competition has got to have quality to be there.

“Overall very pleased. From a distance point of view we’ve come out of it favourably. Looking at some of the groups and where we could have been travelling I'm happy about that, particularly with the fixture congestion we’ve got.

"And we’ve got a chance of going through. Braga are no doubts favourites for the group and the amount of games they play in their league they would be favourites,  and rightly so. The important thing is that we're in with a chance."
