BRIGHTON & Hove Albion won’t take the threat of Chris Wood lightly at St Andrew’s on Saturday.

They know all about the loan striker from his time on the south coast.

Wood did his bit to help the Seagulls to the League One title during a temporary switch from Albion, scoring eight times.

Brighton captain Gordon Greer said: “Woodsy has done brilliantly this year.

“He did well for us last season but he has carried that on now and been excellent for them.”

Brighton have been trying to boost their own productivity, with Leeds United’s Billy Paynter a long-time loan target.
