DAVID Murphy has revealed that the Birmingham City squad have bought into the Chris Hughton way totally.

And that has been reflected in the eight-game unbeaten run.

When Hughton replaced Alex McLeish, he was confronted by a posse who wanted out after relegation.

“Before he came, he had a reputation of players wanting to play for him,” said Murphy

“And I think everyone can see that the players who are here do want to play.

“Last season, you can’t really say too much about that. Everything has changed, the players, coaching staff.

“When he first came in, it was about getting his point across about how he wants us to play and I think we’re reaping the rewards for that now.”
