Mark Yates demands a repeat performance

MARK Yates will be looking for more of the same tomorrow when Kidderminster Harriers entertain Grays Athletic in the Blue Square Premier.

The manager has urged his Harriers to prove their 6-0 hammering of Stafford Rangers this week was no fluke.

Yates said: "We're looking for the players to continue that level of performance, not only against Grays but for the rest of the season.

"We stopped the rot with last week's display at Aldershot. Although we lost, we deserved something out of the game.

"Grays will prove a different proposition to Stafford and the players will have to show the same willingness."

Yates adopted a three-man strike-force formation against Stafford and has hinted he will do the same against Grays with Iyesden Christie, Daryl Knights and Matthew Barnes-Homer all set to start.

Midfield man Andy Ferrell is the only likely absentee through injury.

Second-placed AFC Telford still have plenty of injury worries ahead of their trip to Gainsborough Trinity in Blue Square North.

Vaughan Thomas, Carl Rodgers, Indie Khela and Jamie Vermiglio are all ruled out while Steve Jagielka is suspended.

Redditch United will be attempting to make it 10 wins from 13 starts when they host Blyth Spartans with a full squad at their disposal.

Solihull Moors are also at full strength for their trip to Barrow while Tamworth report no injury problems as they prepare to host Southport.
