JC LIONS booked their place in the Invitation Cup Final with a thrilling 3-2 success over Shere Punjab.

Patel put Shere Punjab ahead from the penalty spot but Lions roared back to level through Wood on the stroke of half-time.

Lions took the lead when the impressive Dove put McCulloch in the clear to score and Reynolds increased the advantage after Shere Punjab's goalkeeper spilt the ball.

Pagania pulled a goal back for Shere Punjab in stoppage time.

Newly-crowned North Birmingham league champions, White Horse, completed their campaign in style with a 7-0 success over Scruffy Murphy's.

Davis led the spree with five goals while Joynson and Burns added the others.

Last season's champions, Cosmo United, beat Brookvale Social 6-3, with Carpenter scoring four. L and R Morden were also on the scoresheet.

Brookvale's goals were supplied by Wagstaff, Dixon and Hurley.
