Sutton & District - Thompson's twin strikes win game

TWO goals from Thompson helped St Mary's St John's Celtic secure a 3-1 win over Middleton in Division One of the Sutton and District League. Gordon grabbed the third goal for Celtic, while Bytheway replied for Middleton.

Falcon Lodge Wanderers fought back for a 4-3 win over Parklands Athletic in Division Two. Stokes struck twice for Falcon with Wilkes and Cartwright also on target, eclipsing Parklands' goals from Lloyd and a Lubban double. St Georges Warriors were also winners in Division Two when defeating Castle Vale Jaguars 3-2.
