Sandwell League - Greets are on the spot in cup final

GREETS Green won the Charity Cup in a penalty shoot-out with Coseley Royal.

Scott Burford had given Greets Green a fifth-minute lead and their chances of victory improved further when Coseley were reduced to 10 men just after the half-hour.

That didn't stop Coseley from creating the better chances before they drew level on 74 minutes when Antonio Gamborne stole in unmarked to fire home. Coseley coxntinued to create chances, but extra time failed to separate the sides and Greets Green eventually grasped victory 5-3 on penalties.
