Red-faced Royals to bounce back

CHRIS KEOGH insists he will not press any panic button despite admitting Sutton Coldfield Town’s FA Cup exit was the lowest point in his time as Royals manager.

A last-minute goal earned Cradley Town a shock 3-2 in the preliminary round tie.

Keogh described the display as “shocking” and will demand a positive response tomorrow when the Royals travel to Bury Town.

Chasetown will be without skipper Adie Smith for the next month of the season.

The sweeper suffered a hamstring injury two minutes from the end of Saturday’s FA Cup progress. Blakemore fears it will mean a two to four weeks lay-off.

Better news for the Scholars is that midfielder Wayne Dyer is fit.

Liam Givens is back in contention for Romulus for their clash at home to Aylesbury United.

The former Evesham United midfielder, who joined the Roms in the summer, has had to bide his time after suffering an ankle injury.

The Roms include new signing Richard Evans.

Atherstone Town add Danny Miley and James Mace to their squad as they seek to extend their unbeaten start to the season when Soham Town Rangers visit Sheepy Road.

Unbeaten table-toppers Leamington expect to have midfielder Stuart Herlihy available for the first time this season when they meet Marlow at the New Windmill Ground.

Nuneaton Town hope to have Rob Oddy back to face hosts Chesham United.
