No panic button for Burley

CAUSEWAY United boss Carl Burley admitted being beaten by Alvechurch this week represented a big setback .

Burley is concerned history doesn’t repeat itself next week when the teams meet again, this time with FA Vase prizemoney at stake.

Having been held to a draw by Tipton Town the previous weekend, Burley claimed: “We could have easily got six points out of the two games – or none. As it was, we finished up with one point.”

Mindful of the fact Causeway have played most of the top sides to date, Burley insisted: “I’m not going to press the panic button just yet.

“To be honest, I’d rather be playing the top sides, because I think it helps us raise our own game.”
