Sporting get off the mark
SPINNEY are still searching for their first point in the Festival Premier after crashing to a 4-2 reverse at Kingshurst Sporting.
There was no stopping Sporting in the first half as they raced into a 3-0 lead through goals from Hollis, Keen and McMenemy.
A second McMenemy goal increased Sporting’s lead still further and ensured their first Premier success before Spinney pulled goals back through Black and Long.
Trooper were another side to taste their first victory with an excellent 6-2 win at Audley Rangers.

Blackwood, Bellford Rovers and Hundred Acre lead the chasing pack.
Blackwood beat St Gerards 2-0 thanks to goals from Finnegan and Lane, while Levy lashed home twice for Bellford in their 4-2 success over Halfway.
Hundred Acre had a real battle on their hands before beating Bramton 5-3.
Thorpe thundered home twice with Flynn, Smith and Hughes hitting the target as well, while Bryan bagged all three for Bramton.
