Stourbridge aiming to bounce back

GARY Hackett says his shell-shocked players - and himself - must look at themselves as Stourbridge bid to bounce back following their week from hell.

Glassboys manager Hackett said the past seven days had been the worst week in his career as boss after the British Gas Business Premier Division newcomers suffered a 6-1 pasting at home to Hemel Hempstead and then a 4-0 defeat at basement side Rugby Town.

“We are not good enough at present,” said Hackett. “This is a big test for everyone at the club.”

The Glassboys will look to hit back tomorrow but the test will be just as fierce when they head to third-from-top Swindon Supermarine.

Ross Collins is suspended while fellow defender Gavin Winsper remains a casualty due to a hamstring injury.

Paul Danks, Callum Martin, Rob Taylor and Adam Bastable remain long-term absentees.
