Birmingham Senior Cup - Plum tie for Glassboys

STOURBRIDGE set up an attractive tie with Wolves in the next round of the Birmingham Senior Cup after beating Cradley Town 3-0.

Ashley Robinson opened the Glassboys’ account on seven minutes before further strikes from Nathan Bennett and Leon Broadhurst sealed victory.

Rushall Olympic also booked a plum tie, against Albion, after a 3-1 win over Coleshill Town.

Matthew Robinson rocked Rushall by firing Coleshill into a 36th-minute lead but the advantage didn’t last.

Second-half scores by Paul Szewczyk, Gary Fitzpatrick and Nathan Lamey, with his 13th goal of the season, saw Rushall through.

Solihull Moors have secured a clash with Walsall after a 3-2 win over Rugby Town.

Two goals by Jake Edwards put Moors 2-0 up by the 47th minute before Rugby recovered to level on the hour with goals from Neil King and Jason Taylor.

Peter Faulds popped up with Moors’ winner with six minutes remaining.
