Nov 12 2008 by Nick Pullen, Birmingham Mail
WYRLEY’S wonderful run of form continued as they hammered bottom side Ruskin Hall 9-1.
It was Wyrley’s ninth straight win, which maintains their 100 per cent start to the season.
Perkins netted a hat-trick for Wyrley with Corkhill and J Cooper converting two each.
L Cooper and Newcombe netted the others with Dunn scoring Ruskin’s reply.
Second-placed St Joseph were also in the goals as they trounced Oscott Libs 11-0.
Rennie scored five of the goals and McNeal added three more with a Porter brace and one from Moore completing Libs’ misery.
Late newcomers Som Rovers lost out in a seven-goal thriller with JC Lions.
Habib hit a hat-trick for Som but that was cancelled out by L Wood’s three with Hannah adding another.
Brookvale Social’s Shakespeare played a leading role in their 4-2 win over SixTen by scoring all four of their goals while Groutledge and Graham replied.
