KIDDERMINSTER Harriers duo Adam Bartlett and Russell Penn will be flying the flag for England as the non-league ‘C’ team look to become the first winners of the International Challenge Trophy.
Goalkeeper Bartlett and midfielder Penn have been named in Paul Fairclough’s 16-man squad for the Trophy final against Belgium at Oxford United’s Kassam Stadium on May 19.
Striker Matthew Barnes-Homer has been named on standby.
Bartlett and Penn have played their part in helping England reach the final, playing in the 2-2 draw in Italy last autumn.
Though Fairclough fielded an experimental side including Harriers’ Martin Riley in a 4-0 friendly win against Malta Under-21s in February he has recalled the bulk of the squad that ended Italy’s hopes.
Former Kidderminster striker James Constable, now at Oxford, and ex-Redditch United defender Exodus Geohaghan, now at Kettering Town, are also included.
