Kidderminster Harriers boss Yates excited by a fit again John Finnegan

KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Mark Yates can’t wait to get summer signing John Finnegan up and running.
Yates pulled off a real coup by capturing former team-mate Finnegan from Cheltenham Town.
Finnegan found himself out of favour with Cheltenham boss Martin Allen. As a result he missed out on pre-season training.
Yates said: “John’s fit, but he’s not match sharp at the moment and I’ve no intention of rushing him back.
“I know what a good player John can be and the sooner we get him on the park, the better it will be.’’
Yates accepted Harriers didn’t get out of first gear in the 1-0 defeat at Salisbury this week.
Yates claimed his side were uncompetitive and said: “They were miles better than us on the night.’’
